The Lost Angels Children's Project has opened its doors to local at-risk youth to learn valuable hands-on skills, being given the opportunity to work along side founder Aaron Valencia, building custom cars. Learning a trade in a fun environment is not only enriching creatively, but keeps these children off the streets and away from potential harm.
Our unique After School Program teaches all aspects of classic car restoration. Welding, shaping metal, body work & painting, electrical, suspension, and motor work for example. Along with learning the restoration
2016 began a new chapter

Beyond work on our

we have taken another step forward,

and building techniques of working with cars, the kids who attend this program will be also be encouraged to use the skills and tools available for meaningful art projects, developing their creative minds. We will show the attendees how they can turn these useful skills into a pathway to finding jobs, enabling them to find gratifying work in a field they enjoy without turning to the streets.
It is rewarding to see these children interested, involved, regularly arriving to the program, and offering a helping hand to the student next to them. We encourage all of our students to aid in creating an atmosphere of unity, teamwork and giving back to one another. This increases confidence and trust in themselves and others which, in turn, translates into being a positive, active member of their communities.
Unique and Enriching
keep the kids excited
about each day they spend
in our After School Program.
Special thanks go out to Big Jerm, Dakota, Miss Kelly, and Jerod with the 65 Rivi for helping make our special, surprise field trip to Pharmacy Lancaster a reality!
We brought the kids from our after school program to Pharmacy Board Shop to get a much-needed new pair of shoes. The kids wound up getting "the hook up", going home with tons of extra gear. We can't begin to express the gratitude to everyone at Pharmacy Board Shop for styling our kids and creating such a special memory.
